Standardizing Luxury for the Meta Quest Experience

To ensure your listings look their best on our VR platform and website, all 360° assets must meet the following technical standards. Please provide this document to your photography team.

1. Image Specifications

• Format: Equirectangular JPG or PNG (2:1 Aspect Ratio).
• Minimum Resolution: 5760 x 2880 (5.7K).
• Recommended: 8192 x 4096 (8K) for crystal-clear VR immersion.
• Stitching: Photos must be pre-stitched (no raw dual-fisheye files).
• Color Space: sRGB.

2. Photography Best Practices

• Camera Height: Place the tripod at 1.5 meters (eye level). This prevents the “giant” or “toddler” feeling when a user puts on the headset.
• Lighting: Ensure all lights are ON and curtains are open. Avoid “blown out” windows where the view is just a white glare.
• Stability: Use a dedicated 360° monopod or a thin tripod to minimize the “tripod footprint” at the bottom of the image.
• The “Agent Hide”: Ensure the photographer is not visible in mirrors or glass reflections.

3. Required “Bubbles” (The Tour Flow)

For a standard listing, we require one 360° photo for each of the following (where applicable):

1. The Entry Way (The starting point)
2. Living Area (Center of the room)
3. Kitchen
4. Master Bedroom
5. Master Ensuite
6. Balcony/View (Crucial for Dubai Marina/Downtown listings)
7. Building Amenities (Pool/Gym/Lobby – if available)

4. File Naming & Delivery

To speed up the build process, please name your files based on the room name.

• Example Folder Name: Listing_Burj_Vista_Unit_1204
• File Names:
  • 01_Entrance.jpg
  • 02_LivingRoom.jpg
  • 03_Kitchen.jpg
  • 04_Balcony_View.jpg

Once you have your property folder with all of the photo files in, you can compress it to a .zip folder and then upload to the Property Listing Form when you purchase your listing slot.
